Not sure which typing, something light or goodness related. Maybe some combo of any two of these: steel, fairy, fire, ghost or psychic. Steel for the light attacks, fairy for the mythical/goodnes aspect, fire cause of angels being said to be made of celestial fire, ghost cause spirits or psychic for light attacks/mystical powers.

True, but think Arceus' normal typing has more to do with its type gimmick, than gamefreak seeing normal type as anything related to divinity. But then again, normal was the type of the "good" pokemon such as all the fairys before the fairy type was implemented.
