Garbodor isn't a Ghost type. You could argue it just gets bigger for him, but hey, there's Magnemite, who's Steel/Electric and his evolution is literally just 3 magnemites but people still love him. I like the line mostly for Magnezone but to each their own.

Animal Pokemon in a nutshell

>Take a real-life animal
>Give it an elemental typing (doesn't need to have anything to do with the real-life animal)
>Give it an "it gets larger" evolution, unless it actually metamorphoses irl
>Give it Pokedex entries that grossly magnify its strength

Oh no the same concept happened 2 or 3 gens in a row
There is no other recurring idea in Pokemon that's happened over several generations like bug Pokemon, regional bird, Pikachu clone or fossil
