I can get why people don't like Bewear, but at least there's something to get out of the design. Unlike Lucario where it's a clusterfuck of pointless and questionable choices, with laughable details like its shorts and huge nose which detract from the design's intention.

At least Bewear looks like a big, silly, unnerving mascot character like it's supposed to.

Lucario's design is only slightly more complex than Mewtwo and Hitmonchan and less complex than say Machamp. The only issue I can see with Lucario's design is the stripes. I don't mind stripes, but a lot of players seem really triggered by striped Pokemon these days.

The worst design of all time still goes to Tympole. I can laugh along with and enjoy Trubbish and Vanillite for being the ridiculous, gimmicky silly Mons for Black like Exeggcute, Mr. Mime, and Jynx were in the first gen, but Tympole is disgusting garbage and thank fucking God he evolves into something that looks nothing like that human-faced fuckover.
