Looking for a Sandstorm Vivillon. It's the last alternate form I need to complete my expanded living Pokédex. I have all other Vivillon forms to trade for it—including rare forms like Archipelago and Icy Snow—but we can negotiate if another Pokémon is desired. When playing competitively, should one choose moves based on whether or not your opponent will switch?

Today I was testing my UU team on Smogon and I led with Infernape. My opponent opened with Chesnaught, who can be OHKO'd by Fire Blast. I anticipated that he’d switch out and so I used Nasty Plot instead of Fire Blast. Luckily, he switched to Blastoise, and so I was able to inflate my stats and sweep 2 of his Pokemon.

Is this good strategy? If he didn’t switch out, it’s possible that Chesnaught could get a free attack on me and then switch out and reduce my sweep potential.

Do you guys attack based on what's in front of you, or based on what could be switched in?

Hi guys it's me

I still have tons of pentaperfect and about a dozen hexaperfect dratinis, all are welcome to take one. Dream ball, Marvel Scale, Adamant, egg moves, etc.

I have some leftover garden scatterbugs, minccinos, and eevees as well. All have at least 5 IVs. For my next breeding projects I need the following:

Mawile: Dream ball, adamant, intimidate, fire fang

Eevee: Heal ball, bold, non-HA, wish

Togetic etc: Premier ball, timid, serene grace, nasty plot

Cottonnee: Luxury ball, timid, prankster, encore

If anyone has any of these (the ball is the only REQUIRED trait although the other things would save me some time) please let me know! I have a lot of interesting things you might be after. For a total shortcut I'd be happy to trade BP items or maybe even an extra legendary.

PS - I hatched a shiny klefki last night after about 20 eggs. Too soon in the breeding process to be competitive though so I guess I'm gonna have to breed another :,)

Yeah. Trick Room has been a thing ive been experimenting with. It's worked in other situations when I didn't send out my sweeper right after trick room has been laid down. Though if I get rid of trick room then destiny bond is pretty pointless. I'll jjst have to find a new set or something. Thanks for the tip.
