What if every new pokemon from now on starts getting a whatever-form? They should just give them one kind of form and one explanation if they're going to do it. There's no need to make a dozens different forms with different names and with only superficial differences when they can just put it all under one form that makes sense.

Why not, most JRPGs do it. Pokemon is just following the flow, at last, and doing seventeen recolors for each of their monsters.

They all have actual explanations except Raichu which coincidentally is also the worst Regional Form yet
