Just make it a glass cannon, like Weavile. Speed and Attack, but poor defenses. That's probably what the Alolan form is doing for it, anyway.

Considering Alolan Marowak evolves from regular Cubone, here are the good stuff it keeps:

>Bone moves, notably Bonemarang
>Earthquake
>Ice Beam
>Flamethrower/Fire Blast
>Rock Slide
>Swords Dance
>Ancient Power
>Belly Drum
>Iron Head
>Earth Power
>Elemental Punches
>Knock Off
>Stealth Rock
>Iron Head

I'm inclined to believe they won't make it too good based on this movepool alone. From the trailer, it could use a Ghost-type bone move, but still unclear on physical or special lean. Regardless of whatever it is, it'll be good with all this coverage assuming it does get speed.

The Alolan form is thinner, so I'm guessing it'll get speed or either special but lose defense.
Bonemarang and thick club or too much a part of it to give it up

Reminder that the Aloan form outsped Haunter in the trailer. With Thick Club, its going to be a slightly faster Mega Medicham with access to SD, better resistances, immunites to burn, T-wave, and Body Slam, and a STAB move that makes no contact.

The future looks bright for A-Marowak.

You guys think it'll be a Special attacker or Physical, it has a melee. Weapon but you never know? I also don't remember if Thick Bone raises both attacks or just regular attack

Probably physical as it has signature ghost typed bone attack. I don't see a specially oriented Wak being better than Chandulure anyway.

Nidoking looks like a physical attacker, but is really a special attacker. Looks never matter.

Nidoking's attack stat is way higher than its sp.attack
It's just the combination of movepool and ability that let him hit better on the special side
But that confirms even more that you never know which attack stat a pokemon will use better

Lets hope for the best because if they do half evo's for some and full evo lines for others thats gonna be pretty lame.
