honestly it's hard to concoct unique type combos for Electric because it's by far the most non-abstract and specific typing. You can't stretch something to become Electric like you could do with shit like Ghost (hurr durr it's a mysterious, ghastly creature) or Grass (hurr durr it's a plant, fungus, or tree so it's Grass).

Electric is Electric. Try to find me one case in which the Electric typing was used abstractly. You seriously fucking can't.

Actually, electric/fire isnt too bad aside from entry hazards and the omnipresent earthquake, both of which can and have been overcome with the right stats, abilities, team support, etc. Quite a few resistances, two good STABs (lacks coverage, though), and I can think of a lot of neat concepts to suit the type. For instance, some cultures thought lightning was divine fire.
