I've always had a soft spot for Bug. Ghost is a clear #2, and #3 is a tossup between Poison and Grass.
that said Mawile is still my 2nd favorite pokemon

Poison is probably my favourite. Very wide variety of Pokemon and not too many bland animals with nothing special about them.

Bug. Bugs are neat and have a lot of great designs, and I like how quickly many of them attain power, even if their power ceiling tends to be really bad. It makes the ones that break through that ceiling all the more spectacular.

Ground type is my favorite by far. Overall the designs are great across all gens. Theres a shit ton of variability in typing and looks

I have not seen a Poison-type Pokémon that I dislike. Their designs are almost always God-tier imo.

I actually don't like Garbodor that much, but Trubbish is pretty cute.
