Smogon recently had this as a side format. Magic Guard + Game Wings Talonflame, Sand Stream + Sand Rush Tyranitar, Unaware + Magic Guard Clefable FUCK, Aerialate + Multiscale Dnite, Regenerator + Multiscale on Slowbro. Lots of fun combinations.

I personally loved Tinted Lens Talonflame. You still have to get rid of hazards, but you can really fuck over your usual checks and counters with a bit of weakening.
