Which is a shame. I'd really like more sp. attack focused Fighting types and more phys. attack focused Psychic types. For the former the only one I can think of is Lucario, and for the latter it's Gallade and Medicham, but those don't really count because they're Fighting type too. I'd like more Pokemon to actually be able to use the likes of Vacuum Wave and Psycho Cut.

When you turn around and see something flying at your head, you instinctively duck before you have time to realise whats going on. Thats because your cns reacts faster than your brain does to stimulus. If you had to stop and think about moving out of the way, youd probably be hit by the time you thought about it. So maybe something happened to alakazam in alola that its brain was too slow to react to, so it focused less on its brain to survive and more on the reaction time of its cns, losing its psychic abilities and focusing more on physical ones instead
