pokemon vega is awesome most of the designs are cool, pokemon solarlight and lunardark has creative fakemon and is an rpg maker game.

uranium is trash, fakemon are horrible and the dificulty spike is enormous, literally generating lv 75 wild pokemon

Etheral gates was fun, had really good environments and sprites and all Fakemon dex too. They're pretty decent Fakemon, better than Uranium imo

Probably not, also you can always remove the word Pokémon/poke and replace it with something else until final release than edit it back in worst case. Also there's no real way to contact the team behind sage, I don't think the wiki has contact info beyond the long dead forum.

Glazed is a pretty gud Emerald hack. 3 regions, gens 1-5 and kalos starters with some megas. Decent difficulty curve.
Pretty comfy overall

Snakewood was a pretty crazy rom. If you're looking for something different than the usual pokémon experience, that's one of the best rom out there.
