Nice OP. I always felt Squirtle and Blastoise felt overly generic compared to Wartortle and the other gen 1 starters.

Real turtles are pretty simple brah...

Give back Squirtle's blue tail. Take out the red lines on the eyes of all three, the eyebrows off of squirtle, and the cannon off of Wartortle (wtf?) and it honestly would be an improvement. Blastoise is the best change, and makes it feel less genwun.
