They aren't.

They're completely unrelated. Comparing fungi to plants makes about as much sense as comparing fungi to humans.

Fungi should still be grass types because they are part of foliage in forests.

They both grown in the ground, don't move and vegetarians eat them. That sounds like a plant to me.

This isn't good bait if you're attempting to "troll", it just comes off as cognitive dissonance if you're wondering why everyone is replying.

You made the original claim that fungi are intact, plants, so you're the one who would need to go publish a book up for peer review stating your hypothesis, provides evidence and ultimately changes science as we know it today.

The evidences are actually overwhelming.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungus
>One difference that places fungi in a different kingdom is that its cell walls contain chitin, unlike the cell walls of plants, bacteria and some protists. Similar to animals, fungi are heterotrophs, that is, they acquire their food by absorbing dissolved molecules, typically by secreting digestive enzymes into their environment.
>Fungi are genetically more closely related to animals than to plants.
>Most fungi lack an efficient system for the long-distance transport of water and nutrients, such as the xylem and phloem in many plants.
>Plants and some other organisms have an additional terpene biosynthesis pathway in their chloroplasts, a structure fungi and animals do not have.
>Many of the plant and fungal enzymes that make these compounds differ from each other in sequence and other characteristics, which indicates separate origins and evolution of these enzymes in the fungi and plants.
>Fungi are more closely related to animals than to plants and are placed with the animals in the monophyletic group of opisthokonts.

I wish it was Grass/Electric. It would've been amazing as Grass/Electric. A huge,bulky Grass/Electric luminous mushroom.

Instead we're getting another Grass/Fairy in a generation already over-inundated with Fairy types. It's a shame, a luminous mushroom was one of the last chances we had to get a proper Grass/Electric.

Evidence:
- Fungus cell walls contain chitin, not plant, bacteria and protist cell walls. Proof: just look through a microscope, you'll see by yourself. Don't care enough to do it? Then shut up.
- Fungi are heterotrophs, plants are autotrophs. Proof: very well known fungi and plant places in ecosystems, even in everyday life. Fungi feed on organic matter, while plants don't. Only plants use photosynthesis.
- Fungi don't have any root, they have mycelium instead. Roots and mycelium structures are extremely different. Proof: just look at them, either through a microscope or even just with your bare eyes.
Many more evidences exist, but those are EXTREMELY obvious, even for a morron like you.

Fact: there are things in taxonomy called kingdoms.
Fact: Plants belong to the plantae kingdom.
Fact: Fungi do not belong to the plantae kingdom.
Fact: Fungi are not plants.

You don't need modal logic to explain something so simple. And attacking the credibility of a source does not refute the claim.

Unless you are going to go all Agrippa, then you don't have a leg to stand on or, as you have shown, a brain to think with.

Any higher education usually requires you to do extensive research yourself.
