I'd like Argentina 2bh. If it's unacknowledged you want, Europe isn't necessarily the place you want to look.

Argentina's also pretty interesting. It has the Atacama desert, which is the dryest desert in the world; it has a giant forest with massive trees (think redwoods, though slightly smaller) but dwarf animals; Buenos Aires is a suitable giant city, and La Boca would be a really cool locale to visit; you have the Falkland islands, where you would have Ice-types and would be really close to the south pole. Also we could get a Chinchilla Fire/Ground starter to put on the rabbit spot on the zodiac.

If they included Chile as postgame that you'd have to travel through a giant mountain range (andes) it would be the icing on the cake.

Eastern Europe could be decent.
Poland for example has a geography almost tailored for Pokemon. Mountains in the south, industrial bit, a big city, medieval towns, flowery villages, swamps, sea, shitloads of forest (+ a primeval forest area), a lake area and a mini-desert (google Bledowska Desert). Never happening tho.

They will eventually want to go for a more tropical style region again, and both countries have pretty varied ambients and good landmarks to be converted into game places.

As both are giant countries it would probably get the Unova treatment, getting the map of a small portion of it and slapping things from all over the country.

Kalos was meant to be a representation of all of Europe, like Unova was with the US (Hawaii is significantly different than the rest of the US, which is why they were okay with using that as the new region).

If they do Europe again, it would probably be somewhere in Scandinavia or Eastern Europe. But I think they're more focused on basing the locations on where Pokemon is most popular.

It's alpha yes, but pretty solid so far. Haven't reached the end of the current game. Game is full of jokes and topics about Spain. Not easy: first leader has 4 pokemon around lvl 20 including a Nidoqueen. Gen 1 and 2 pokemon and some kind of item trading online system.
