If the little bug was effectively dead in the past, being puppeteered by a mushroom, it's not super extra ultra dead. Possibly Ghost/Grass since the bug is totally gone.

My personal autism would like to see a Dragon/Fighting Haxorus that somehow evolved to have their bladed tusks moved to their forearms. Their heads no longer have tusks and now they do battle/take great pride in the blades that grow on their forearms. They now have slightly longer and bulkier arms, and shorter necks.

Alolan Haxorus now hang out in packs, and the one with the strongest/largest forearm blades is the alpha or something. They challenge each other in order to test out their forearm blades and strengthen themselves, and in the process adopted a fighting style that's a combination of grappling and delivering devastating chops with their blades.

Their ability is Technician/Rivalry and the stats would be 80/140/95/80/75/90 assuming alolan forms keep the same BST. They can learn most "throw" moves like Circle Throw, as well as all "chop" moves like Dual Chop, Cross Chop, and Karate Chop.
