I hate the steel type. Its so bland and boring, but it has some amazing pokemon. I'd say scizor, since its awesome, badass, can be cute and its very, very good. Lucario is a solid choice, if you can ignore the furfag accusations. Magnezone, mega aggron and escavalier are all great. I guess you can use any of these and then build your team from there

Bisharp, Excadrill, Empoleon, and Metagross are runner ups.

If you want the best just look for anything Uber/OU and run with it like Mawile, Aegislash or Excadrill.

If you want anything "historical armor" related I guess Aegislash would be your best choice.

and why the fuck is escavalier slower than aggron despite its White description saying it flies around at high speeds

Bronzong is one of my favorites, solid defenses and before the nerf presumably meant for aegislash, only had 2 weaknesses, had either of his abilities remove one weakness.
