Alternating between the first entry and the second, with dips into the second games in the generation all the way since Yellow, although I missed Crystal. My cousin and I always get the opposite games so we can trade, and swap between first and second entries just for funsies after we realised we'd done it by accident up to Gen3. As such, she has all the ones I don't have.

As far as remakes go we just get the remakes of the ones we previously owned for old time's sake, even if it breaks the pattern, so I have FR, SS, and OR.
