Now that games tell us whether our moves are effective or not, a complete typing overhaul shouldn't be that troublesome.

new types are reserved for when types are not represented,
the only types that should be divided are
Normal into
>Beast (the countless animals, also this covers birds)
>Anomaly (pokemon like ditto, castform and porygon)

beast could be used to defensively buff ice, offensively buff bug, and offensively nerf fairy,
anomaly could also serve as an alien type, or cover pokemon that aren't very clear on what they are.
