I like gen 4, 5 and 6 a lot better than the first three gens, but I like the legends from gen 1-3 a lot more overall than the newer ones.

Mew is the best.

It's so surreal, I mean the nature of Mew when it first came into our knowledge. That was when Legendary felt like a Legendary. Not that the newer Legendaries aren't but it has something to do with our childhood innocence.

This guy has been my favourite for a long time, has a lot of sentimental value. Looks awesome. Kyogre is a close second. I really like Kyurem, Zapdos, Lugia and Reshiram too.

I do not even like Sinnoh games very much, but I can state that Giratina is the best legendary Pokemon by design. Both forms.

Gen 5 is my favorite and I know it has the worst legendaries (along with every other 4th gen Legend other than Giratina). The only redeemable Gen 5 legends are Genesect and the Tao Trio because they work so well in those games' lore/story/plot/muh fanfiction.

Good old Thunderbird.

Its design is amazing, the first time I faced it in RBY that sprite got Zapdos a permanent slot on my team. Any game since where I can get a Zapdos I'll get one.

But yeah, the design is phenomenal and it's also surprisingly good competitively, which is nice.

I've posted this in a similar thread before but are you talking about Legendary Pokemon or Mythical Pokemon? People seem to get them mixed up.

Mythical Pokemon are event Pokemon like Genesect, Arceus, Deoxys and Mew.
Legendaries are the non event ones caught in game (yes I know Deoxys can be caught without an event in ORAS but that's different)
