I was under the impression it'd be a single final evo, but with different secondary types and probably minor design changes depending on island. That was probably from one of the fake leaks, tho.

Different evolutions would be cool but, honestly, it seems a bit too far fetched.

I bet they change form when their final evolutions use Z Moves. They'll be like Ash-Greninja.

You know what would be easier marketing wise?
Different Rockruff evolution based on your game version.

They did a similar thing with Mega stones but it wasn't the same as actual evolution.

Rockruff + Starter1 = Wereruff1
Rockruff + Starter2 = Wereruff2
Rockruff + Starter3 = Wereruff3

This is the most reasonable theory going around along with the fact that they'll all be capable of special transformation.

The last stages all get unique Z-Crystals for special Z-Moves only they have with animations tailor-made to their designs
