Hocus and Pocus' theme is based off of "Crystal Ball Fortune Telling": They have bowling ball/crystal ball bags over their heads to heighten their psychic abilities, the evolved form polishes it's crystal ball with it's tail and they have six fingers because I thought it looked cool/it's connection to the paranormal.

I figure the pre-evolved form lives/hangs around human habitats living off scraps (like a raccoon) and developing it's psychic powers while occasionally bumping into things; 'till it can either find and polish it's own crystal ball out of some proxy.
The Evolved form however lives in the forest and uses it's psychic powers to predict where food and tree branches will be so it can swing from them with confidence.

To the anon that wanted a picture of Popplio juggling while riding on an Alolan Ninetales, it is complete! (Assuming you're still around). I do apologize for the delay, I just couldn't get the pose right. I had this whole circus thing planned out in my mind, but my hands refused to draw on paper what I saw in my head. In the end I went with the circus horse motif because I liked the way their costumes looked. I'll add color to it and all the other requests once I'm done with drawing them. did you try to draw traditionally at all before jumping in and getting a tablet? honestly traditional stuff is what helped the most, for me. if you can't get a refund or if it sells for less than like 80 bucks keep the tablet for later and pick up a pencil and a cheap sketchbook.

Overall it's good I see there's all the basic stuff, but the things that are off:
- anatomy is real good it's just the neck that is sliiiiiiiiiiightly too masculine and the upper arms are too long
- shading can be improved, it looks like it's a very cloudy day in the pic, if you want to make it feel more "sunny" you need to brighten up the background a little and shade her picking a color focusing more on saturation and hue instead of brightness (see my dumb thing I did aka pic related) plus when it's sunny the shadows are "hard" instead of soft but that's like, eh if you can pull off a good soft shading people won't notice
- maybe try coloring lines it might fix the hair a bit
- this is optional but saving in .jpg adds artifacts + unsharp mask, if you don't want that to happen you should save as .png

So, I usually frequent the tg drawthreads, so I'm not sure if original characters are welcome here, apologies ahead of time if not.

I'm requesting a character I intend to play in an upcoming pokemon adventures tabletop RPG with a few friends. She looks like Esmerelda (pic on the right) dressed like the character on the left.
