Of course I made some own personal edits to the sheet to better fit the information I wanted to display because I'm a special snowflake like that.

Grass-type gym, a double battle like with Tate and Liza in Hoenn. Sceptile, Gogoat, and Tropius are intended to be Florian's Pokemon, while Bellossom, Gourgeist, and Victreebel are Laurel's.

Johto has a couple of them at least. In HGSS Bugsy leads with Scyther (obviously because of U-turn). Morty also always finishes the battle with a Haunter, not his Gengar.

basically went for a hgss blue type of team composed by some of my favourites, the badge is just composed of the pokemons typings thats on my team

And a third one I just made, Ground type this time, with a loose ruin/archaeology theme. In hindsight I should have chosen Rock as a typing to allow me to use the fossils, but it was nice trying to maintain the theme without resorting to the obvious. Gym arena would be a ruined tower in the middle of a desert.

I'd really suggest switching Slugma and Tirtouga around, or maybe even Graveller and Slugma. As one anon said, that's a lot of gyms that aren't actually a Rock monotype team, and it makes it look a little sloppy. Still, the team roster is great by the end of it. Carracosta and Bastiodon are some of my favourite Rock types.

I like the suggestion anon said of swapping Joltik for Sewaddle. It's not a problem to not do that, but having a Fire/Water/Grass start sounds like a solid bet. I like the (mostly) Unovan style to it. It introduced so many great bug types.

I always have trouble making decent Ice-type teams, but this one's really good. The mega outside of the rematch is a little rough though. Megas are strong, and probably best reserved for post-game rematches.

Another good Bug monotype. Volcarona makes a good final ace up your sleeve, and Armaldo and Scizor add some heavy hitters to the team. The typing match ups seem a little... bland, perhaps?

Did Ground types get popular all of a sudden?! Can't say I'm as fond of this one as the others, but I know that's because of personal taste in Ground types, and a special distaste for Swampert's mega evolution. Who doesn't love Gliscor though? It's your saving grace in my opinion.

The fact it's not a monotype makes it feel a little all over the place, but I felt like Blue's gym was like that too and everyone else seems fine with it, so maybe it's just a personal issue rather than something objectively wrong with it. Salandit is an odd choice considering how little we know about it, but Nidoking and Hydreigon are good choices overall.

For the ones I've been posting? Sure, pic attached. It's really not that different from the one posted at the start, but I wanted to add a few personal touches so I could make it a little more my own, and include some information the original didn't have space for, like a Gym Leader name and picture.

This one's not identical to the one I've been using but I had to make a couple edits since the "skeleton" I have is full of filler text which I can edit (it literally says "~~~~~ Badge" on mine, and I can edit the tilde out freely), but y'all won't be able to if I send it to you via png, so I removed it and made a little extra space in places so people can add things more freely. Otherwise you might struggle to fit in the badge name for example.

Think of it as the difference between Ash's Pikachu (his partner) and his Greninja (his signature). His partner is his longest friend, the one he trusts most, and is pretty iconic to his character. The signature Pokemon, Greninja, is the powerhouse of his team and the strongest Pokemon he's using.

In short, partner is cute, signature is strong.

I went through each of the games per region and counted Pokemon per gym. Ignoring yellow for being fanservice, emerald for being outdated by OR/AS, and B2/W2 challenge mode because fug u:

There are only 2 gyms w/ 5 Pokemon, Giovanni (antagonist), and Wallace (future champion w/ shitmons). Both were the last gym only. If you insist on counting Emerald, than Winona and Juan also use 5, but Juan is knock off Wallace, so counting him makes you a retard.

Y'all need to simplify your gyms. You're not actually supposed to beat the trainers, you're supposed to weed out the shitty trainers who aren't ready for the Pokemon League. Don't worry, the ever merciful frog gym has you covered.
