I like Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova (please don't kill me).

Overall? Unova for each city being pretty cool/different and seasons feel nice, but Sinnoh has a damn good comfy feel to it.

Geographically, Sinnoh is by far my favorite. The games did a good job of making the region feel vast but cohesive (though I could've used a teensy bit less marshland), as opposed to something like gen 3 where, waterworld aside, replays make the disjointed landscape a lot more noticeable.

I liked all of them as individual routes (s/o to the hike from Mauville to Fortree) but none of it feels like it belongs together.

Love Johto's landmarks, esp. what HGSS was able to do with them, but otherwise it's pretty meh.

Probably Unova. The locations feel much more varied and alive than other regions, particularly the cities. It just seemed to have a lot of personality to me.

johto is my favorite

Nostalgia for Kanto, Ambience for Johto, landscape for Sinnoh, and Pokemon spread for Kalos.
