Alternate fucking universes?

There is an universe that people discovered how to mega evolve pokemons and there is another universe that people don't know about this technology (original games - BW 2). IIRC there was another one but I don't remember what it got.

Middle one is the one that matters, the rest are contained. The remakes basically served to tie the timeline with the newer games.

So far Alola has no mega evolution, so it should be part of middle.

I know that the anime isnt necessarily cannon and stuff, but did ash just fucking teleport into the mega evolution universe?

I am seriously dissapointed that gamefreak/nintendo didnt just assume their decision to put mega evolution in the game. They had to go on and retcon it into universes and shit.

They probably ended up not liking Megas. XY worked as a sequel, it was the ORAS games which created the new timeline and explicitly said so, and sucked XY with it.
