Psychic is okay. /vp/ makes it out like its some god awful type, because apparently you can either only be "11/10 broken pls ban GOAT" or "0/10 shit garbage pussy trash die in a hole if you ever even think about using it".

Psychic/Electric is an interesting combination. Opens up a lot of weaknesses, but also decent coverage. It's not the best synergy, but far from the worst.

Alolan Raichu seems to be a special sweeper whereas regular Raichu can function as both physical and special as well as a support Pokémon thanks for Lightning Rod and Static. Both are useful imo.

Mega Gallade is godlike in Doubles, cant be Fake'd Out. Also still retains support moves like Will-o-Wisp, Hypnosis or Knock Off while still able to hit like a truck. Rock slide resistance also.
