I liked ORAS so I had no reason to say anything bad about him, regardless of that interviews made it clear the one year dev time and Masuda impacted things.

That said if I didn't already like ORAS, then nothing so far shown of SM would make me particularly hopeful.

Have a bit of hope anon. With Masuda out (he was the one that said children these days don't have time for a long game) and the amount of originality and breaking of formulas SM are giving us I think we're in for a really nice experience.
