Not sure if this has been said before, but I think the dex leak still has some credibility because:
Pesp & Peskool: small fish and a school of fish (Wishiwashi)
Evil ground things in Sunabaa & Shirodesuna (Softle and Panquake)
Fairy shroom in Morelull (Fungkie & Hallucid)
and pure Water type Sea Cucumber
Based on what I can tell from the names and typings, the dex leaker got these concepts right. It's possible that fake names and typings were put in as red herrings or that he had outdated info and things were updated for the final versions of the games. If I'm wrong and stupid, call me out on it.
