I'm following up on my own post, here. I looked up more information about sea cucumbers to see what could possibly form a predator/prey trio that could fit into the RPS organs theme.
The closest I could really think of for predators of the sea cucumber would be a Sea Star. The problem is that they're not really known for using their organs like sea cucumbers are. I'm beginning to think that it's most likely that there will be three different sea cucumber pokemon in the style of the pan/simi monkey trio.

It's definitely accurate. I compared the pokemon that have been revealed with this much time left before release with the amount at this point in time back in gen 6's prerelease, and based on the percentages, I figured we'd have around 120 pokemon, give or take a few. Which is extremely likely given that this is an odd-numbered gen, and that's how they do things.

Yeah, I never believed that split evo leak. It just doesn't feel at all like a game freak thing to do, even though skipping Z breaks a pattern.
But really, it sounded like it would destroy the flow of the game. For starters to have split evos based on the island you evolve them on, you would have to have access to every island before level 30, and then would probably need some kind of little cutscene event or something to take you to the island you wanna evolve on. It just doesn't feel like it would work well with how the flow of the Pokemon games goes.

Wasn't he the one that believed there were four elements (earth, air, water, and fire) and that each was a combination of two of either hot, dry, wet, and cold (i.e. air is hot and wet, ground is cold and dry, water is wet and cold, fire is hot and dry).

He also theorized a fifth element (quintessence) but I dont really know much about that.

The main point of Alola forms is that you can only get the original ones by transferring, so there won't probably be any regular Ninetales, Sandshrew etc in Alola, only the new ones.
