I sincerely can't think of a reason you'd pick the other two (objectively speaking), they're really dated, and platinum fixes some of it's biggest technicals problems. (and expands the postgame)

Literally me. I went with Platinum when I took the dive, and I don't regret it. Chances are, you've already gone through Johto, so HGSS aren't exactly necessary or new.
