What if Bewear don't hunt Marowak?
Maybe they just often find crying Cubone mourning their dead mom. And when the Bewear tries to console it, the Cubones is hurt by Bewear's retard strength.

no you have to consider the transition from ground first. And since ground is weak to grass, water and ice, most likely the predator is ice or grass type as they are weak to fire. So the predator is either ice/psychic or grass/psychic
