If they'd proportioned it better, like changing the shape or location of the actual mouth so that you could read it, maybe it wouldn't be so unpopular.

That fakemon is way better than the real thing. Especially the bucket stage.

It doesn't have a "mouth".

It's clearly illustrated that when it wants to eat something it literally turns itself inside out to become a sink hole that swallows whatever it caught.
