ITT: We try to predict this generations pair of fossilmons.
Will it be 2 new fossils for sure or variations of Kabuto and Omanyte? My predictions:
Mosasaur based: Rock/Ghost
Ichthyosaur based: Rock/Water
I reckon both sea based this time, like how previous gen were both land based.
Also I'm going full nut here and predicting that in game fossil resurrection technology is able to revive an ancient pokemon without fusing them the rock subtype, giving all fossilmons a potential new 2nd typing onwards. Or just making some monotype if resurrected in Sun moon.

I didn't really have a 20 year streak y'know.

Who are you quoting and what does your post mean?
Because it looks like you entered this thread and posted some random shit
In b4 Megalodon mouthbreathers.

I don't think they'd do another shark after giving a mega to Sharpedo.

Gen 2 did not have any fossil pokemon
>>27653053
O
O yeah they didn't. Weird. Perhaps they dropped the idea only to realize it as a mistake. Which is why it's been back every time since then.

>the hawaii has no fossil record because someone on Flour-chan said so meme
>believing it
>>27653142
It really doesn't have much of one, being almost entirely composed of relatively recent lava flow and all.
All fossils found on Hawaii are from the Quaternary Period (the one we're in right now) and mostly consist of things like snails and coral with a few birds here and there.

>another rock/water fossil

I just want Rock to stop being a mandatory fossil type.
Why is it people think there's going to be no fossils? Because one gen didn't have them, even though the only reason for that is there were no fossil revival centers in Johto and you had to wait until the end of the post game to get a fossil revived.
And besides even if Hawaii has no fossil record that's not going to stop GF from making fossil pokemon.

/vp/ just wants an excuse to not have to think.
They're going to bitch at sandcastles for the rest of the day.
I like how GF prefers doing pre cambrian fauna instead of proper Dinosaurs, which is what people expect when they hear "fossils"
Either way, we didn't get megalofauna yet, so Mamooth/Sabertooth cat duo would be nice.
>>27654278
It symbolizes they re revived, that they were a fossil once.
I wonder what was Cranidos/Rampardos' type back in the jurassic.

Don't count on it after Mammoswine
Other prehistoric beasts could be mad cool tho.
