How Can You Guys Like This Better Than Mega Evolutions?

Honestly I don't understand why people are more hyped for Z move than megas. I really loved megas and it was interesting to speculate which mega the evil team leader could be using. the whole purpose of having your own pet monster that can turn even more powerful was really cool to me. I fucking loved megas.

GF probably wanted the player to be able to do something that worked with any pokemon. Megas are a fun idea, but they are very limiting, and with Z moves any pokemon can shine (the player's favorite).

However, lots to be speculated about Z moves. If the damage is based off of base stats, then Z moves are useless on any defensive pokemon, for example.

megas only work with specific pokemon, so most pokemon get left out, while every pokemon can use a Z stone

Because megas are crap. Mega evolution is a shitty band-aid for pokemon that need permanent fixes and they made op pokes even more op.

I Would've liked Megas if they were a Form triggered by the Megastone being held.

I think Z moves might be cool, but the whole dancing thing is cringeworthy.
