I dunno, Lance seems pretty simple to me- poke and hop and counter
it's just a matter of learning timing (as is the case with most weapons)
I tend to prefer the more complicated-looking weapons though, so gunlance is more my speed

a bit more on topic, but I'd kill to see a pokemon themed SRW game
