Really wondering what they have planned for Pokemon amiibo seeing as how there's like... none right now. I mean people will obviously buy those up like crazy, right? Is there a reason they don't want to print money?

It would be neat if using the Super Smash Bros. amiibo and perhaps even the Shadow Mewtwo Pokken Tournament card could allow you to capture those Pokémon. If not, then perhaps they could at least let you battle non-catchable Totem Pokémon.

I'm not sure if dedicated Pokémon amiibo will happen. We did get those non-amiibo NFC Pokémon Rumble U figures and said Shadow Mewtwo card, so it's possible. I wonder if they'd do figures of a select few Pokémon or cards for a good amount of them.

Supposedly the Pokemon company don't want amiibos to devalue their non-amiibo pokemon merchandize or something along those lines.
So Sun and Moon might not actually get amiibos of any kind.

I like this alot, and I make custom amiibo, I wouldn't like this as a simple reskin of pikachu... I guess putting it in an oven is an option
