It was just some random coronation scene that lasts abot 8 seconds with no foresight or bearing on the plot at all, what follows is a bland demo reel cooked up by NoA with Windows Movie Maker, its actually the most painfully cheap and phoned in intro of any gen

I don't remember any of the other older intros have anything to do with foresight and bearing on the plot either.

The coronation was a great way to set the tone, though. But I agree with you on the dumb Windows Movie Maker part. XY didn't even really bother with any intro, either.

They fall into the same montage of just showing off protags, starters, legends, and the evil team one after another. Crystal and RSE had the best intros, honestly.
