It's a new generation, so no. They dropped in-game mechanics like the one in B&W. It takes up space from the game anyway, also they'd try to add some shitty gimmick where we have to do awful minigames to get our Pokemon again. Interfacing with cartridges to migrate the data is seamless and quick.
