Of course he's kidding. Although since Plot Council recently "released" their plot, there were a lot of negative reactions to multiple parts of it. Much discussion on these parts ensued, producing alternatives and different perspectives, as well as simply calling the plot out on it being a busy and convoluted fanfic rather than, y'know, a game plot.

Some issues have been amended, while others have been shuffled into the privacy of Plot Council where we have no confidence in them being addressed - Plot Council is of course very stubborn about their efforts, and they seem to think they have more weight than everyone else on the matter, despite having to answer to everyone.

Well they do have more weight than everyone, that's why you voted them into plot council. The way it was supposed to work was plot council shits out a great plot and the rest of the project has no concrete say in deciding it because the whole thing was a shitshow. The caveat to that was that plot council was expected to listen to feedback and take that into account since its not supposed to be garbage and you can argue that plot council has been sketchy at doing so. Throw in that some of the people elected basically became impervious to criticism and took every negative critique as a personal slight and you get the situation that exists now.

Not at all. Plot Council could write whatever they wanted, but it was up to EVERYONE to agree to it. It was therefore in Plot Council's best interests to take feedback and interact with everyone (and not shut themselves away), so that the amount of material they would be told to rewrite is minimised.

The reason Sage Sunday isn't weekly is because we're almost entirely done with 2.0 content and are now implementing and bugtesting. We're not "getting stuff done at a slower rate". There are no more content updates until we release 2.0.

I'm not going to make a Sage Sunday just to read through 300 "release when" and "this game sucks" posts.

One of the legitimate complaints I've seen about Sage is that while not using the fairy type may have been a reasonable choice at the time the game original began production, it's been 3 years since XY. There are more fairies than dragons now.
