The biggest problem was the Pokemon placement. Every trainer had those fucking monkeys or a Woobat and I couldn't get the cool birds, like Braviary, until after the Elite 4. There are designs I like (Krookodile, Haxorus, Emolga, Leavanny etc) but there are some really crap ones like Vanniluxe, the Simi's and Klinklang that appear with undue frequency.
