My only issue with this leak is that Rowlet3 seems... small. I don't know. Almost like it's meant to be a middle stage, but then it looks weird evolving straight from Rowlet.

Guess I'll need the middle stages to assess what I think about them.

Rowlet is the smallest of the three starters, and while it may be short it doesn't really fit as a middle stage designwise.

I've warmed up to all three to them actually. Very satisfied with Rowl3t, makes me glad I liked Rowlet the most since the beginning.
As for the other two, I think they make good counterparts for Gen V's starters: a heel to contrast Emboar, and a feminine sea lion foil for Samurott.

GF is not going to do this. For completely new characters that are each in a three-stage family, it would make them exponentially harder to market efficiently and sell merchandise of.

This is the same reason they dropped minor gender differences after Gen IV as well, and it's the reason no Gen VI mons aside from Diancie got megas.

Rowlet is the smallest starter in general. Froakie has the same height at 1' but Rowlet is the lightest at 3.3 pounds.

I don't really follow why having split evos would make it harder to market? Just too much shit to try to sell?
