Yeah, it still bugs me, though. I concede the character player because the game wouldn't be as fun from the narrative if we played the game to maybe get a few badges and settle down working at a Pokemart. Iris doesn't have the requirements of having some sort of duty to keep parties outside the universe of the game's reality playing the game.

Red starts as either 10 OR 11, depending on what we think of canon; May and Brendan are probably 12, Wally IS 10 (at least in ORAS).

According to a Famitsu magazine, BW protag and their rivals are at least 14 (making them at least 16 by the time sequels happen).

There are also some non-protags with age confirmed.

Pryce is supposedly more than fifty, can't find the source.

Steven is 25, his dad is 52. (At least in ORAS).

Cyrus is 27 (HE SURE DOESN'T LOOK THAT)...
