Surely everyone remembers this guy, the purple pikachu we were all astounded by as children. Since Exeggutor basically got reconned, do you think this will happen to Pikachu? I think that'd be pretty cool to be honest.

I posted this thread asking for discussion as soon as alola forms were revealed, and i got shut down, everyone told me no.
Anyways i think so OP, the only discrepancy is ashe's pikachu was fat in the beginning then slimmed up. But it could easily be taken care of in the pokedex entry, "these special pikachu's slim down over time" etc things like that

Pikachu has already been shown to take on its usual form in Alola multiple times. If these regional forms continue into future generations, then perhaps Pikachu could get one in Unova since it was not available in the wild there.
