Rosa and Lyra are pretty high up for 1st and 2nd. Selene might be third place. May in 4th, Hilda 5th. Serena 6th, Leaf 7th, Kris in 8th and Dawn is dead last.

Rosa is pretty sporty and has done some dress-up, so it's hard to tell if she takes real good care of herself or not

Lyra's got those socks, so they're probably soft from all the moisture

Selene probably wears no-shows but I'm banking on the idea of her not wearing socks

May, I've seen her feet in plenty of fanart and official material so I'm a little curious

Hilda wear black boots. Hot leather probably toasted those puppies, basting in their own sweat combined with hints of wet grass.

Serena is probably a fairly pampered, high-class girl, moreso than the rest much less her mother. Might err more on the fragrant than pungent side, which is still nice.

Leaf's socks could get very musty, but she seems the type to change them frequently if we assume her mom's just as strict as Delia to Ash about changing his underwear. Could be wrong though. Armpits might be the real catch for her though

Kris' shoes look kind of future-esque, so they might actually be designed to divert heat like some of those special shoes Sketchers made.

Dawn has all the makings of being on par with Hilda or so, it's just that my interest in her isn't as strong as the others.

Very nice. I have to admit that I don't think I spend a lot of time wondering about the quality of the feet since the main Pokegirls don't really have personalities per say it's easier and more enjoyable to think of their feet being ideal shape. I'll admit though that I can see your point in certain places, such as drawing inferences based on how Serena looks overall, it's something I could get behind.

Fully with you on taking the effect of the footwear and the surrounding climate into account. I'm also quite fond of the idea of Chicken-chan foregoing socks and that in combination with the Alola weather having an effect on her feet. I think that is part of why she has begun to grow on me since I liked the ORAS incarnation of May for similar reasons. Of course the RS and E incarnations of May with socks and sneakers aren't too bad either, again in combination with Hoenn's climate

Tempted say that Kris would go sockless too, which would just be a cherry on top. At the very least she seems like she'd work up a sweat. Think you could possibly say the same about Rosa. Again a bonus in both cases.

You pretty much hit the mark on why Hilda and Dawn catch my eye, despite otherwise having possible tepid interest in the former and my interest in the latter having waned considerably since Gen IV. I like your idea of Hilda's peds having a leather smell to them.

I like Leaf's too, the baggy schoolgirl look of them is cute. Possibly keep in a bit of heat that works some magic while she is walking.

Admittedly never gave much though to Serena or Lyra. I do however kind of the dig the former's leggings and footwear and like to think that since they're similar to Lyra, both kind of benefit from what you describe. I'd say I'm more of a natural scent/sweat guy, but I could get behind Serena's feet also having a touch of a pleasant fragrance/leather.
