If I recall correctly, Bellyzard made it to BL at best.
Which isn't even bad, especially by today's standards, still a rather risky build and there were better fire types out there.

Stealth rock alone,which has always been a popular move, limited Bellyzard big time.

The mega gave Charizard something.

My whole point being:
-Infernape, reliable mixed
-Blaziken, speed boost physical
-Emboar? Oh yeah nothing, fuck you.

Maybe make Mega Emboar instead of Mega Blaziken and make him an actually usable bulky physical or even Belly Drum user, or maybe the should have made him stronger on Sp Atk from the beginning.... but nooo.
