I like the Muk, Mud variation.

Ice Ponyta seems repetitive since we have a fire pokemon going ice already. Ice/Fire typing is an interesting combo, but I don't really see it for a gen 1 variation.

If the leaks are to be believed, we are getting a Butterfree variation already, a Bug/Psychic.

Cool Tentacool typing. Water Electric Jellyfish with bioluminescence makes sense.

Fire Cubone is okay.

Volcanic Geodude is fine.

How about an Ice/Poison Koffing? Or even Ice/Fire Koffing, themed for Mist, evaporation or clouds.

I was think of a pale ponyta with a pale blue, fiery mane.
For geodude, since he's ground and rock, it'll make sense if he's volcanic because it's Hawaii.
He could also be grass/rock because of volcanic ash. *shrugs*

Going for flavor over viability:

Fairy/Fighting Granbull - Perhaps just slightly beefed up, with a darker colour scheme. Gains a boost in SpDef, retains decent Attack and same abilities as non-Alola form.

Rock/Psychic Natu/Xatu - chiselled totem poles with mystic glowing eyes. Xatu is taller, more ornate, with its wings permanently spread. Has high speed, low def, passable SpAtk. Abilities are Sturdy and Illuminate, with Magic Bounce as its hidden ability.

Electric/Ice Delibird - Dark body with lightning bolt crests. Clearly flightless. Beach-dweller. Hustle or Motordrive as abilities. NU stats.

Water/Fire Corsola - Based on fire coral common throughout the pacific. Learns a lot of poison-type attacks. Better stats all round, with trick-room level speed. Abilities are Hydration, Dry Skin, with Poison Touch as a hidden ability.

If we get Gen 2 mons which i would love, then there are more possible forms we can get
