Looks like a dumb generic cutesy fish instead of a real angler. No teeth, no bulbous pale fish eyes, and it became way too generic and "safe" after the much more interesting Chinchou.

Angler fish were always my favorites when I was younger children, and playing Crystal as a kid I ended up releasing Lanturn because I disliked its design so much. It's wasted potential, and the only thing that can really redeem it to me is an Alola variant that looks like an actual deep-sea monster.

I actually really appreciate Huntail. I know it tends to be "forgettable" due to its complete lack of presence in its debut games, but it's got a nice charm to it. I like the gaping, fanged mouth, the dull, goofy eyes off to either side, and the fact that it uses both bioluminescence and a fish-shaped tail as bait. It was always one of those mons that I really wanted to use, but couldn't because for the longest time I lived out in nowhere and didn't know anybody I could trade with.

Its design is just terrible. Everything from the cardboard ears to the weird bulbous snout to the flat soulless eyes disgusts me. At least its evolution rectified all that, but as it stands there's just something about Blitzle that leaps out at me as being uniquely awful.

I always hated how annoying it was in competitive in gen V, for one thing. It pretty much fit onto every team too, and it was just too good for me not to use, at least sometimes. So I hated how annoying it acted and having to see it all the time.

Additionally, I just never really liked the Rotom-line all that much - it seems kind of simple or silly or stupid to me. It's just a gjost that possesses appliances. But I don't hate most of it.

So it's because 1: I didn't like it a lot in the first place and 2: it got on my nerves in gen V. Specifically Wash-form. I don't know how to feel about Rotomdex either, but it will definitely either make me be a little more okay with it or hate it by a lot more.

I have a hard time coming up with even 1 Pokemon that I hate.

Don't get me wrong, there are tons that I don't care about or even don't like, but "hate"? It would have to be something that I can't imagine anyone having it as a favorite, but also that make my enjoyment of the game worse simply by existing. The closest I've been is Infernape when he was a big deal in the anime (that I don't even watch), but that was probably nostalgia for Charizard.

Timburr line. The entire line is fugly as fuck. Timburr had lumps of cancer on his forehead and back of his neck. Is almost human skin colored. No "clothes" and instead looks like a naked human child. Line just get's worse. Gurrdurr is a retarded human adult and Conkledurr is an old naked man who lifts a lot. The line is irredeemable. It's one of the best Pokemon stat/movepool/ability wise, but I dont give a fuck. I hate this Pokemon and I'd actually pay money for it to be redesigned or just deleted from the game entirely.

Mega Mewtwo X & Y are abominations.

I don't have a problem with inanimate object Pokemon, but Klinklang pushes it a bit too far. The face on the smaller gear doesn't change. It's permanently locked in that :o surprised face. It must have fucking locked-in syndrome because it literally can only communicate by SPINNING HARDER judging from Amie. Strikes me as a design someone wanted to do without giving thought to how to make it seem like a living creature.

Genies get one slot because they're essentially the same thing. Also threw Tornadus-T in there are its the worst of the therian forms, but the other two are almost as bad.

Arceus is ugly and the idea of there being a literal God Pokemon is still ridiculous and unnecessary.

Rhyperior & Chesnaught are shit because they ruined two lines I was a fan of. Rhydon is pretty awesome, and Chespin is one of my favourite first stage starter, but fucking evolving him into that abomination.

Cobalion, Keldeo & Aromatisse are just ugly as fuck. Could probably sub Mr. Mime, Jynx or Gothitelle in here too desu.
