Hi guys, Did someone has some kind of rule or memory rule to remember each advantage or disadvantege of the differents types?

Think the obvious.
>water takes down fire
Play the games a lot and don't use the same mons every time
>>27535468
No, I've just been playing for so long its just burned in, some dual types take me a second though.

Psychic is weak to things like ghost and dark because they are mentally tormenting. Fire melts steel. Water erodes rock and ground. Fire burns grass. It's all just following a certain logic
The only type I have trouble with is steel because of how many resistances this shit has
play more and get good
>ground is grounded from electricity
>birds eat plants and bugs
>kill two birds with one stone
>harsh weather like blizzards and lightning hurt the airborne
>water erodes land and conducts electricity
I could think of more, but they are all obvious and autistic.

And Bug. Think common phobias for that one. Also here's one
>dirty fighting never wins
>Fighting is super effective against Dark
>>27535504
so why is bug supereffective against dark?
>>27535666
because bug is shit and they pity it
>>27535666
I'm shot at remembering ones like this too, if I'm in a wifi battle I usually just have a type chart and bulbapedia open anyway to check stats and types
I've just memorized it. Even the weird stuff like Rock resisting Poison.
Did you know Rock resists Poison?
>>27535678
acually that makes more sense than i expected it would.
>>27535749
Yeah. So does ground.
>>27535749
Have you ever poisoned a rock before?
>>27535774
Ground always made sense to me for some reason, like the poison is leeching into the ground. I don't know. Rock is just. A rock.
>>27535866
I can't say that I have.
I'm surprised poison isn't weak to water to play off of the whole adding water to acid vs adding acid to water in chemistry.
