So I heard pokemon from Y/R/B will keep their gen 1 stats.

The only real difference in gen 1 stats was special stat counting for both special attack and special defense

Not a lot will change except people with good special attack with be accompanied by good special defense

I really wish they did a little more in terms of appearance to make it stand out from Poliwhirl and have something which implies the fighting type better.
