I really enjoyed the story, the end of the team Plasma plot in particular I thought was the best in the series so far.

Darmanitan wasn't really doing anything for me. I do like how it looks like a Klonoa monster though.

38 hours and I just beat Ghetsis. My team is more or less level 50, I caught all the pre-Ghetsis legendaries and my Pokedex is at 120~ seen 86~ caught. I never really had trouble (other than with Clay's Excadrill for some reason) up until the Pokemon League where in I had to stop and grind because I was extremely under levelled and they were decimating me. Ghetsis still nearly obliterated me with his Seismitoad, Buffoulant and Hydreigon though.

I'm playing BW2 right now and I love it even more, it's like the premium version of bw, the character sprite animation is better, nice little touch ups on the graphics here and there, and challenge mode.

I actually lost to the first two gyms, cause of the tanky lilipup with work up, and an all poison team verses snivy.

It's been ages since I actually enjoyed a pokemon game

Gen 4 kept me away because gen 4 bored me half to death so I figured maybe I was just growing out of Pokemon or something.

I think the clincher (other than the fact I had to actually choose between favourites for my team since in gen 4 I could barely fill a balanced team with my favourites) was Skyarrow bridge. Both of you should know that these games were even better when we didnt know what we were going to find pokemon-wise or what anything would evolve into.

These games hit so hard in the nostalgia when i think of them and playing them on day 1.

That being said go into SM with an open mind. Things are changing up a ton in SM, so just finish em and let them make their impression
