I picked helix first because I thought "dome" sounded like "dumb". When I found out Kabutops came from the other one, I always picked dome. Now when I replay, I always go helix because I think Omastar is cute.

Omastar is cooler. Neither are particularly good in Gen 1, but Kabutops is at least usable in OU.

You can use trainerfly to summon Missingno, but yes it is a little more difficult. OP is playing Red or Blue, though.
